Masada Community Mental Health Services is proud to stand in solidarity with Peace Over Violence and global communities for Denim Day 2026.
Denim Day — founded by Peace Over Violence in Los Angeles — is a global movement that calls on all of us to take a stand against sexual violence. Each year on the last Wednesday in April, people across the world wear denim as a visible statement of solidarity with survivors and a commitment to ending victim-blaming.
“At Masada, we see every day how trauma impacts individuals and families across our communities. Denim Day is an opportunity to stand in solidarity with survivors, raise awareness, and reinforce our commitment to healing, dignity, and support for those we serve,” says Masada Interim CEO, Melissa Tillman.
It is our shared hope that violence prevention programming and survivor healing services are accessible to all navigating sexual assault and violence. More about Denim Day here.
